We offer a focused range of A-Level and other Level 3 courses to suit a variety of interests and career pathways. The full subject list is available in our prospectus or on the school website.
Most students take three subjects in Year 12. A few may study four depending on their academic profile and future plans. We provide tailored guidance during enrolment.
The Sixth Form day runs from 8:45am to 3:20pm, structured as follows:

You can purchase your Sixth Form tie and lanyard for £10 via the ParentPay Shop:
Payment must be made by 5th September. You’ll receive your tie on your first day, and your photo ID card during the first week after your photo is taken.
We offer individualised support, including access arrangements, mentoring, and help from our SEND team. Contact us directly to discuss what support is available for your child.
The standard requirement is five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and maths. Some subjects have specific entry criteria – full details are available in the course guide.
Students must be in school by 8:40am and aim for 95% attendance or above. Holidays during term time will not be authorised.
For planned absences (e.g. university open days), students must inform Mrs Ali or Mrs Carlton in advance and provide evidence.
For unplanned absences (e.g. illness), a parent/guardian must call 01254 604000 Option2 before 8:30am on the day.
Yes — eligible students can apply for the 16–19 Bursary, which can help with travel, meals, equipment, and other essentials. Apply early to make sure support is in place.
Students register online, upload evidence of household income, and can then submit claims or request reimbursements. Canteen credits and stationery are provided automatically for successful applicants.
We offer a weekly enrichment programme, with opportunities for volunteering, work experience, careers development, and academic support. Trips, guest speakers and clubs are also available.
Students receive one-to-one support with university, apprenticeship, and job applications. This includes help with UCAS, personal statements, CVs, and interview preparation.
